NiCo2O4-Based Supercapacitor Nanomaterials
In recent years, the research on supercapacitors has ushered in an explosive growth, which mainly focuses on seeking nano-/micro-materials with high energy and power densities. Herein, this review will be arranged from three aspects. We will summarize the controllable architectures of spinel NiCo₂O₄ fabricated by various approaches. Then, we introduce their performances as supercapacitors due t...
متن کاملAn improved sensitivity non-enzymatic glucose sensor based on a CuO nanowire modified Cu electrode.
CuO nanowires have been prepared and applied for the fabrication of glucose sensors with highly enhanced sensitivity. Cu(OH)(2) nanowires were initially synthesised by a simple and fast procedure, CuO nanowires were then formed simply by removing the water through heat treatment. The structures and morphologies of Cu(OH)(2) and CuO nanowires were characterised by X-ray diffraction, X-ray photoe...
متن کاملConstruction of a non-enzymatic glucose sensor based on copolymer P4VP-co-PAN and Fe2O3 nanoparticles.
An electrochemical sensor based on a copolymer poly(4-vinylpyridine)-co-poly(acrylonitrile), P4VP-co-PAN, and Fe2O3 nanoparticle film modified glassy carbon electrode was developed for the determination of glucose. We studied the response of glucose with the proposed electrode, and determined the optimum conditions by changing the potential, pH and P4VP-co-PAN. The current response measurements...
متن کاملA novel non-enzymatic lindane sensor based on CuO-MnO2 hierarchical nano-microstructures for enhanced sensitivity.
In this work, we present new results about the non-enzymatic detection of lindane by using CuO-MnO2 hierarchical nano-microstructures. The linear range for the determination of lindane is up to 700 μM with a limit of detection of 4.8 nM, which is much lower than for other non-enzymatic lindane sensors.
متن کاملEnzymatic characterization of a prokaryotic urea carboxylase.
We identified the first prokaryotic urea carboxylase (UCA) from a member of the alpha subclass of the class Proteobacteria, Oleomonas sagaranensis. This enzyme (O. sagaranensis Uca) was composed of 1,171 amino acids, and its N-terminal region resembled the biotin carboxylase domains of various biotin-dependent carboxylases. The C-terminal region of the enzyme harbored the Met-Lys-Met motif foun...
